The EYC was held in Portugal this year. Brent had been selected by the nttb to participate in the U19 tournaments of this EYC.
In the team tournament, the Dutch U19 boys team achieved a 25th place. Individually, Brent achieved the following classifications:

Doubles: last 64
Mix doubles: last 128
